im getting a yz125 in a few days and i was just wondering what it tops out at. And my friend said a 125 will keep up with a hayabusa for about 50 feet. I told him he was crazy but ive never seen them race.

does your friend have yellow falling out teeth and smell genrally like cat urine? cause he sounds like hes into crystal methamphetamin. :angry5: a 20hp 125 will not have a 1300cc 170rwhp crotch rocket at any stage of the race,,, maybe 10 feet if the guy cant launch it right. the top speed is 72 from a friends 2000 yz125 i clocked in my truck last week.125's just seem fas tthye have an erratic powerband and appear to rip but they lack torque t o get off the line and pull in a hurry IMO. :angry2: ive raced and rode 250,125 ,shes,929 ducatis,r1's,you name it and the yz125 wil l be pummeled against even a little r6

well its a little more than 20hp, its in the low 30's but whos arguing, anyway a dirtbike doesnt stand a chance against most streetbikes, and 125's have nice pull high rpm's but nothing down low at all, i like how mine really picks up 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, 5 isnt that great at all for my bike, but all are different
