Yamaha banshee overheating issue

Hi..I'm new to this group and I have a 1995 Yamaha banshee with a full pro circuit exhaust, vforce 4 reeds and cage,...was told it has some porting and polish work done to it but I can't say honestly if that's true...and I run air box with no lid...but I have an issue with it getting hot after bashing for about 20 minutes..I'll hear a boiling sound and I noticed the over flow tank was lower after the run..I can fullt trace where the leak is coming from ... I don't have no milky oil so I don't have a cross contamination situation..I did see some antifreeze coming from the clutch cover under where the pump is but I pulled off the 3 screw cover and the metal pump cover wasn't leaking..any help would be helpful 😞

Need to know more about your setup to tell you where to set timing. Typically +4* advanced is OK. Id set it at 0 to be safe. Run an 8 series plug.
I checked my timing today and it's at +4..and I run BR8es plugs which to me is darker brown color..tried to upload pics but won't let me

It needs rebuilt bud.

how does that make sense?? It runs very strong..tons of low and top end power..starts up first to second kick all the time no choke..
Right side is 124..and left is 105 to 110..
The cylinder cranking compression differs by 15-20%. Which side is compression low?

I've rode on a quad with a tired motor and yes there's a difference in compression on mine like I said before it runs strong and again starts on the first or second kick cold all the time

If my engine isn't ported and polished like the previous owner told me because personally I don't know if it is..is +4 timing to high for what I know I have done to it..like pro circuit exhaust, vforce 4 reeds and cage, airbox no lid, tor's deleted

With those mods deff gonna need to up your main jetting, running stock size jetting??

Idk what the jetting is
Idk what the jetting is
In your carb you'll have the pilot jet, and your main jet. Little brass nozzles you screw out. The main jet is usually the bigger one. Pull your main jet out, clean it up, and it should have a number on it. Buy a main jet kit, whatever number your original has, go a bit higher and try that. Might take some experimenting with diff sizes to find the right one for your quad.

What oil gas ratio are you currently running? Not enough two stroke oil will DEFF cause issues as well.

With these mods with the port and polished work what you my main should be?? And what should it be with port an polish work..because again idk how true that is

First ya gotta know what size your currently running. There's no one size fits all in the carb jets. Gotta pull car apart. See what's currently in there.

280 Main jet would be a good starting point.
Do this to confirm main jet sizing: http://kawatriple.com/carb/plugchop.htm

There is a reason compression is so different. Bike will never run as good as it can with compression that much different, its also hard on the engine. Which side is low?

As you're sitting on the bike it will be there left side

you could have a look around the cylinder and intake boot on that side for a small air leak or leaky stator side crank seal. do the revs hang at all?

Ended up being my water pump propeller was completely shot..
