What they do is give you a fake check worth more then the amount of the item for YOU to cash. They say that they owe someone money and that person will pick up the item as well as the remaining cash. Happend to a friend, He got a 4500$ check for his 1000$ bike from some guy in the UK.

I like to mess with them. Especially the ones with people trying to sell english bulldog pups for $800 and shit knowing damn well that no respectable breeder is going to ask less than $1500. I will ask them everything that I would ask a breeder plus some and then report them to the bulldog club of america, and craigslist. After a couple times they stop posting up their stupid shit, and trying to screw people that don't know any better at least on all the ones I check around here. I am sure they move their ads to a different spot but at least no one around here will be getting screwed over

So a while back I had a scam something like this, but I fixed him up real good!First I was supposed to send back the balance of the check(my bank already told me is was fake),so I told him that I did. Then he wants a confirmation # and I give a fake one.So he has to travel around 1 1/2 hours to pick up the funds. Then he emails me and says the # didnt work(no shit). So I give him the same #,changing i didgit only and he goes on again! Now he is worried, but I convinced the fool to go one more time!Well this lasted almost all day with me laughing my ass off the whole time! Finally I told him how he was scammed and he was pissed, but oh well, payback is a bitch.:violent2:
