know this is an old thread but o well...went to 4 diff dealerships here in bama and only seen 3 sport quads WTF? they said theres no market for them here anymore one dealership still had an 06 yfz450 anniversary edition under a shed out back the platics where no longer yellow but more of a easter yellow with brown and black shit all over them and the price on this pos is 7k they wouldnt come down on it either not that i was going to buy but still its a nice quad that doesnt deserve to sit under a shed for 6 yrs prolly wouldnt run now anyways perfectly good waste of yfz

Same deal in my area..... Live with a bunch a red necks that only buy 4x4 utility quads and Harleys :freak3:

yup i live in bama in a very rural area 40 mins to a town in any direction but all shops are in citys like tuscaloosa (roll tide if i may) thats where the yfz sits...the other dealership was in tuscaloosa too it was a polaris dealer and no sport quads just rzrs and utility quads..the other 2 in birmingham 1 had a ds 450 and the other nothing...it really sucks to know our lifestyle is a dying breed...i remember when u couldnt go to a dealership without seeing atleast one of each sport quad on the market

Im in between too cities that have decent dealerships (Dothan al and columbus ga). Both have almost every type of sport Atv curently made by honda Yamaha suzuki kawasaki polaris and canam. Sucks that they're phasing em out up north of the state. :thumbsdown:

i just left the dothan area monday lol my buddy lives in like loxley bay minette area and he says he cant find anything down there but streetbike shops no one carrys atv mx gear...that shop in tuscaloosa that has the yfz i dont think their gear shop ever left the 80s they had a bunch of old gear from the 80s real retro had an old helmet originally white (now yellow) with like some pink and blue lines they were asking 190 for it and it was not a new helmet made to look old it was literally old a bunch of jerseys where the same and the had some old school bars in there too i thought it was all a joke but the salesmen said its stuff they still have left over i laughed so hard when i left the building

yea motosport and bto blow my email up with gear lol...yea i think he was just looking for gear local to get that day and couldnt find any but its the same thing here hard to find nice gear without having to order it and pay shipping
