I am new to this site and saw a really clean TRX500. You do not see many really clean builds. Here is a picture of my 1996 TRX300EX frame with a 1987 CR500R motor in it. We call it the Alien Quad! The motor just has some mild porting, pipe and reeds.

I like it!! Thats a lot of motor for that frame. What kind of pipe is that??
It's a CR500 dirtbike pipe that we inverted. Took nothing out of it and added nothing. Just turned it around. We did alot of extra bracing and put in extra gussets. We have not had any problems so far. When I tear it down for the drag pipe and alky carb set up I will take a picture of the frame work and motor mount set ups. Thanks for the compliments. That is for sure. People hear it coming that is for sure. It was not very well liked by the rangers in Oregon. They wanted me to do some thing about it being so loud! I attempted every thing. Nothing would work. So we had to start towing it out to the dunes. Awesome...
