Ive seen a couple people do this and i was just wondering what is the purpose of this, and what is involved in doing it. And if you do it is there anything to worry about, parts breaking, premature wear?
It makes shifting alot smoother. It's a big improvement on the Banshee, I don't feel my Blaster needs it though.
It won't cause other parts to malfunction or break.
cool, thanks. My blasty shift pretty smooth so i dont think i need to do this, only problem i ever have is while down shifting i have to let my clutch out a little for it to change gears
smoother shifts. and you find neutral easier when you're done riding, or need to start the bike. the only downfall is if you don't shift aggressively enough during drag racing or any other riding where your bike is under alot of load it's like the shifter gets confused and will fall into neutral.
