Hello, I inherited my Father's RD-250 that has been partially disassembled. The heads and cylinders are MIA. I also have a R5 engine that I would like to use to get the RD-250 running. What would be the recommended method to adapt the R5 to the RD-250. I would like to keep the 6 spd trans. that the RD is equipped with, and I also understand that the R5 has a higher primary gear ratio and I would like to keep this also, if possible.

What is the best way to put this together so I can get it running.
