I want to buy a set of new arms but Iam not sure who still makes them for the 500. I would even be interested in a set of used ones in good shape. Any ideas would be great

Sorry it took so long to reply to your question but there was some problem when I reregistered and it took some time for it to be fixed.

LSR has some starting at $760 http://www.lsracing.com/
Burgard has some starting at $450 http://www.z400central.com/burgard/

I know there are other places out there but these are the only ones I have found lately.

How is the zilla? I am in the process of rebuilding one do you have any advice, info, or insight to share with a new zilla owner?

As far as zilla advice, I recently rebult mine. If you want some really good advice go to the quadzilla reborn project on the internet. Go to google and type in Quadzilla Project reborn. Those guys helped me out alot when i rebult mine. I pretty much followed there every advice point with a result of an almost flawless rebuild. The only problem I had was with sealing up the motor. Particularly with the cover on the power valve. The lame gasket the I ordered from suzuki was crap. It was too thin in thickness and in overall size. I had to custom make a gasket in order for it to seal up. I also had problems with the head. The holes where the studs come through some how got fractionally bigger than the studs themselves. So what I ended up doing was boring out the holes in the head and installing larger diameter studs. And that fixed the problem right away. Oh, and one more thing, Zilla's have a nasty habbit of blowing head gaskets. So I recomend you have your head modifyed to accept O-ring type gasket seals. That will eliminate that problem. Trinity Racing can do that for you. In my opinion Trinity Racing is the best place to have mods of that kind done. For more information go to their website @ www.trinityracing.com You might also find some other really cool stuff there for your zilla. If you want to talk more about you rebuild just let me know.

I'm rebuilding mine at the moment too. Had a bunch of problems. theres a thread about it. ANyways thanks for the websites I'm gonna check them out here in a few. I need to have the crank bearing journals resleeved, one of them (stator side naturally) is wasted, and the clutch side case is cracked. Mine hand grenaded about as bad as one can.
