I race a 93 yz250 and runs right with the newer hopped to the max 250 fours, Im now building a vintage bike in the basement using a 1980 air cooled kx250,in a champion frame. any body out there know these bikes. How do they compare to cr yz and rm for that year, need to get the most rpms possible out of this motor. any advice, love to hear it. thanks

Baaadboy; don’t let anyone fool you. The older 2 strokes are just as potent as the later model engines.
I’ve got many many happy customers with the oldies & a new liner to put them back to standard bore. Start to read “How it’s Done” & you’ll pick up a lot, I’m sure that you’ll also have much to contribute to E2S.
