I recently got my quad tuned in and running great, rode it for a couple hours and then got back to camp and the shifter seal was leaking that I just replaced. I put some grease behind the seal before I put it in like I always do with any seal and it still leaked. Its a nice auto oiler for the chain LOL but seriously I need to get it fixed. dont know why this is leaking anyone have a good fix for it or any ideas as to why it is leaking. The case is in great shape, no dings or bends, the shaft is straight and I can't figure this one out...

Sure its not coming from the final drive shaft seal right above it?

There's an oil seal, an o-ring, and a spacer there between the shaft bearing and the sprocket.

I think its possible, haven't had a chance to ride this week to check it out but I know its one or the other so I went ahead and ordered a couple of sets of each, spacer, o ring, and seal for the final drive and the seal for the shifter, I always put hitemp grease on the insides of seals before I install them, is it neccessary on this application?
