I understand this is one of THE places to be for 2 stroke help so here goes.
I have a ‘78 Peugeot 103. It’s got a 49cc 2 stroke. It’s got 148psi compression. It’s got enough spark to power a small country and it’s getting fuel. I can’t make it fire. It won’t even pop. I’ve put fuel right in the hole. I’ve even tried a snort of starting fluid. Nothing. I verified the timing. I connected a timing light (wired to a 12v battery) to the plug and it doesn’t skip a beat. The timing is possibly off by 1 or 2 degrees. Not enough that it wouldn’t pop...I wouldn’t think. The only other thing I can think is crank seal. But not even a pop? Help. Thanks
