Let’s face it; 2 strokes are on the way out. This really makes me sad especially since our polluting is nothing compared to other endeavors. Diesel railroad trains, jet engines to name a few.
I hope that the devoted 2 strokers will keep on truckin; maybe a continued interest will revive things in the future. I plan to be at it for another 10 years or so, my small operation would be available for someone to take over at some time in the future? • The money is good for a person who is devoted to mechanics & precision workmanship. It’s so easy to screw up a cylinder; be it accidental or from plain stupidity. The group of customers & suppliers is a precious friendship which I’d never could have imagined. Since I’m now on social security it’s much easier to accumulate more equipment except I’ve run out of room. Any of you who would like to get further into this should give me a call in the evenings, I’m out in the mountains this is my long weekend.
