I'm nearing 68 years of age. I seem to have about as much brains as I ever did (alas!), but the old bod ain't too spry, hair is only a memory, and I am becoming a real pussy about possibly getting hurt and spending a long time healing up. So, I've got this '76 RD400C, which I share with another fellow (not quite as old). This is the bike I lusted after when they were in the Yamaha showrooms, and years later I got one. A TWO-STROKE STREETBIKE!!

But the trouble with that is that unless you have the guts to ride hard, it's the wrong bike. Ride at legal speeds and it surges. "Come on, gas it up, go go go go!!!," it says. "Aw come on," I reply, "I'm too old anymore, I just want to plonk along and see the scenery!" So, what do I do, get a Gold Wing (two-wheeled Winnebago) ??!!!
