So today i went and traded my beat up kx125 for a what i thought to be a 200x but it looks to me after some doing some searching that it seems to have a larger engine than the 200 and looks for like a 250sx. I know this is two stroke land but i dont feel like joining another forum. If anyone can help and give me a few clues would be great.

What kind of info are you trying to figure out? Identity or troubleshoot?

Identify. It runs and fires on the first kick with no issues. Other than the front end being bent and needing brakes and a new set of rubber its not horrible

Look on the bottom of the jug where it meets the cases, it will have the displacement followed by cm3. Most of the time its on the left side.

i dont think sx's had the air scoop lookin things coming off the front fuel tank,
but my 87 200x had them, and 350x's had them too, and weren't the sx's shaft drive ????

Maybe i have no clue ill go out and take a look at the jug tommorow and go from there. Thanks alot guys. Will have more on this build coming up. Gona stick with the white plastics and tank and blue seat and frame. Think it was already done once and has a nice look to it. Thanks!!

yeah thats a 200x. the 250sx had electric/kick start and had shaft drive and even reverse i think.

Looks like 87 plastics.. Does it have key ignition? Join 3wheeler.org slot of help there! Tell the zac sent you. Does it have 6 gears?
