anybody have any place to reccommend to find parts for my 86 ktm 500 mxc? like oem parts? i know they are out there but i just need to find them! just want to make sure i can get gaskets and stuff for it still. and also a piston if i have to in the future.

Call and check with KTM dealers close to you is where I would start.
I have looked for parts online actually for the same bike you have and couldn't find anything besides used parts on ebay.

Normally I just troll around this site but I joined so I can point you in the right direction.The best info about your 500 is found on ktmtalk.com in the oldie but goodie section.There is days of reading to be had about your bike there.As far as parts MUNN ktm has most of the things youll need.If you are a site member and use the direct link on fourm they give you 15% off all oem parts.Your 500 in proper tune is one of the meanest mothers ever made next to the 550.

i sold that bike haha i got a grand for it!!! it was pretty cool making that kind of money from that bike.
