well...here is the thing..... if the part i purchased was oem, it would have included the clip. but because the part was motion pro, it was not included. he did not mention that the part i was purchasing was motion pro, nor did it say that anywhere on the item. it simply said replacement. so i bought it..... when the part didnt arrive i was in a panic because i had a riding trip planed for this weekend, so i ran down and bought a new one. then i left a nuetral feedback. because i felt slightly miss-led that i did not recieve the clip with my purchase. i just sent him an email kissing his ass and apologizing. i realy bit the bullit on this one because i am a strong believer in reputation and trust. if he has a heart he will do a mutual withdrawel. i hope he does.......

I just looked at that auction and noticed you have only been a member since last month. In that case I would just get a whole new Ebay user name. I think it would be easier and less stressful. If you want to build up quick positive feedback just buy a bunch of cheap stickers from different people. This seller seems like a real prick and he gives Ebay a bad name. The good news is that there are few sellers like that, most are really good, you just had bad luck.

Just a word from the ebay wise... if you have a problem with an item on ebay, contact the seller first, if the seller is unresponsive then file with paypal and get their attention... most sellers will do about anything under the sun to fix a problem and avoid a neg or nuetral feedback.... he did give you the shaft, by just hitting you with a negative, but if that business on ebay is his way of life and you messed with it, it is understandable to a point that he got that upset... he is still a douche though... calling you a loser in the email was a bad thing. you should try showing that to the ebay people when you try to withdraw.

Too many responses to read.......just watch every single item that the seller has up for auction. Then notify him that you are going to communicate with every single person that bids or wins one of his items. Then watch how his future auctions will be suddenly set to "private bidders" so you cannot communicate with them. Stay away from people who set up the auctions so you can't communicate with potential buyers. (usually got something to hide) I've NEVER been refused a refund or got BAD feedback from a "DUMB ASS" seller using this method. This is all I've had to come up with so far. Seems the retards know when they've met there match. Almost looking forward to the day some other DUMB ASS forces me to crank it up another notch!!!! Sh!t eBayer's beware!!!!

ahah...thank you all for your suggestions. i spent my night on ebay, in some of the forums. what i learned was, ebay is changing there policy, to stop this exact same thing from happening. they have seen it as a problem in recent months when buyers give nuetrals, or even negatives, but in pure retaliation, sellers give the buyer a bad score. as you could see in the comment that he left. he stated that the only reason he was giving me a negative was becasue of the nuetral rating i gave him. this new policy, in witch sellers will not be allowed to give negative feedback to buyers, only positive, or nothing at all, will not take effect until next month......

my suggestion would be for these ratings to be anonomous until both party's have finished the rating. that way, you dont know what you were rated at until after you rate the opossing buyer. and vise versa.......

thank you all for your help. i am going to open a new account!

Yeah, Neutral feedback would piss me off, especially if everything you said was positive. The only difference is if I received neutral I would probably send a message to the buyer and complain. I wouldn't leave negative feedback in return.

Well I hate to say it but if you left him the neurtral feedback without telling him you were unsatisfied first then you really don't have a whole lot to say. Ebay policy says that your supposed to contact the seller before you leave feedback if your unhappy. As a matter of fact Ebay used to prompt you with a message if you try to leave anything other than positive feedback. The prompt would ask if you had contacted the seller first to try and resolve your issues. I don't know if you still get the prompt because I haven't left anything other than positive in a long time.
