I was an idiot and popped my kickstart spring straight through my right side inner cover. It cracked from mating surface to mating surface and the part is discontinued from Honda. I could be a hack and Jb weld/rtv until it seals but if anyone has a better solution I’d appreciate it. Part number is 11340-KZ4-L10 if anyone has one floating around

Honestly, depending on the thickness and what you have available, you might have a candidate for brazing. I’ve brazed numerous cases, including the interior wall of a two stroke crankcase with great results. Unfortunately, without oxy/acetylene or an oxy/MAPP set up you probably won’t be able to get the cast hot enough for a solid repair. Do some research though! You might just give it a shot. If you’re really brave, you can also SMAW weld it with the right electrodes, but that’s a complete PITA even for an experienced welder.
