nice project! look for a used 38 or 39pwk you can find them every so often on ebay and other forums for a decent price

If you pick up a keihin 39mm pwk or any large pwk there's a couple small trick's to get them to fit on the 83-84 250r's so let me know and I'll clue you in on them and show pic's, it's real easy though and you even use the stock cable.banshee[CENTER said:
The smallest I've ever run on a 300r was a pwk 36mm but like Denny said you won't have your max topend power capability without a larger carb. One more thing you need to check is your reeds are they aftermarket or are they the factory stainless steel type. If they are stock you'll need to change that right away, I have a reedcage with some boyesen reeds installed and I would sell it pretty cheap, the best are vforce 2 or 3 reeds, I run the 3's on my 300r with a 39pwk but boyesen will be a good start they are far better than the factory one's.

well the last of the parts are on the way its gonna run soon tonight i finshed up the stinger fab fits perfect trimmed fenders and cleaned it up

well here is some pics i need to put the piston in but to finish the mock up i sat the jug on and made me a mid pipe its done! piston should be here tomarrow thanks 1up!
