hi, i just got my LT bored 40 over, ported and polished, and i was wondering if i could get a ballpark on jet sizes. its a mikuni carb off an 85 lt250r. i tried reaming my jet and its slobbering rich. i have one more jet that i can work with. anyone familiar with reaming? either that or just a ballpark on what jet to get. i was figuring a 260 or 270. any thoughts?

Jets are cheap, drilling them will cause problems. The carb you are trying to use is too small for an 88, more so if its ported.

You will need a 200-210 for that size carb. The 1985 LT250R Carburetors are 32mm so you will need smaller jets. But, because of .040 over bore you might need a 220. Let me know if that works?
