1988 LT250R engine - complete (needs stator and basket) - $275 + s/h

I picked up an '88 LT250R engine a while back. Needs a clutch basket & stator. Top end is at 69mm bore and has a few small grooves. Will have to mock-up a frame in order to test compression, so not sure if it "needs" a top end rework. Bottom end is solid besides needing a clutch basket. Case saver threads are perfect, and clutch adjust threads are perfect. Solid crank with no wobble/runout. Crank belly and rod are very clean. Looks like light porting on jug. Dime-sized hole in stator chamber on bottom, repairable with jb weld.

Includes all covers, head, jug w/ powervalve, p-valve window, bottom end, kicker, shifter, flywheel, exhaust flange, reeds/cage, clutch arm, clutch cable, and carb boot. Lower end is coded J109-111416.

I was planning on holding onto it for when a cheap roller became available, but I have too many 500cc projects.

This just happens to be my favorite year (i was born in 88) pm me what you need to get i might shelf it until i get another roller.

Just got ur message about the 86 cases, i havent been on here in a long time. If you still got those ill take them , maybe if we can work something out on the 88 ill come down and pick up both.

For ALL the 1988 engine/parts (55.2 lbs in a 17x17x14 box):
- USPS-or-FedEx & Paypal: $275 + the ride from 43551 via USPS Priority Mail (or) FedEx Home (cheaper of the two).
- Local pick-up & cash-in-hand, $275

I will also sell the top-end (all) and bottom-end (all) separately. See pricing below.:

'88 Top-end:

Here are the 85-86 parts...$30 + ride...

There are also a couple other listings on eBay right now for the rest of the gears, clutch, cover, jug, etc. Could have a complete 85-86 engine for less than $150!

ENGINE IS ONCE AGAIN AVAILABLE! All thanks to moron ebay buyer "rricky2011".

I had 3 offers at $300 + s/h and one at $250 + s/h. And go figure, the one I choose is "the guy". After I accepted his offer, he decides he doesn't want it. now I'm neck-deep in a 4-day process to get my $'s back.
