im going to be rebuilding my front forks in the next 2 weeks and was wondering if anyone knows the procedure for servicing the closed cartridge? how many cc's of oil? I have seen at a couple of ktm sites that there is a tool that looks like a bicycle air pump that is for the 07-08 forks. so does the cartridge take air or oil? and if anyone knows the amount of oil required for the outer chamber that would be good too. thanks in advance

There is a bladder on the top of the cartridge unscrew it and fill the cartride with 195ml of 5w fork oil. You should fill the bladder with 15-20psi with nitrogen (that's what I use anyways) fill the bladder after it's screwed back into the cartridge or it's a bugger to get it to seal. Sorry but I can't remember what the outer fork oil level is, my spec book is at work. If you go to www.racetech.com it might have that oil level there

so if i change the cartridge oil does that require pressurizing the bladder to 15 to 20 psi or can i change cartridge oil only without messing with the bladder

If your lucky you can just be very careful with the bladder when you remove it, the lip where it seals is really sensitive.
