I bought this blaster about a year ago and it blew up on me the 3rd day i had it because it turned out the guy i bought it from had a chinese stator, and an aftermarket mikuni fast-line carb on it making it run REAL rough. I replaced the bottom and top end, new oem carb on it, new carbon reeds, new oem stator, oem magneto, both air boots are new but I left off the air box lid because it was all dry rotted and cracked so i threw it out. I put everything back together yesterday and it starts first or second kick, idles fine, but when I go to ride it doesnt hit powerband at all. Kinda makes me feel like im on a childrens 110 LOL. Im not sure if Ive got to mess with the air/fuel screws or if i should rejet the carb since i took the air box lid off or what. i just dont know anymore and would really appreciate it if anyone could give me advice or point me in the right direction to get this thing hittin powerband and running in tip-top shape again. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

If your running with no air box lid, you will have to run a bigger carb jet. Did you do a compression test and leak down test after rebuild??

It should run OK at least with stock jets. Fuel good, plug good? are you still running oil injection or pre mix?
