Renthal FatBar
After rolling my Banshee this past summer I bent my Handle bars and my Upper A-Arm. This stopped me from riding for about 2 weeks, so I had enough I wanted the toughest handle bars I could buy. I did a lot of research to see what there was out there most was a double wall with a support across the middle. Then I saw the Renthal Fat Bar. I was sold.
Here is what it says on the Renthal web site "Renthal FatBarŪ handlebars are designed with a 5.0 mm wall thickness at the bends to add strength. FatBarsŪ have a shot-peened anodized corrosion-resistant finish and feature a laser etched positioning grid. FatBarŪ handlebars are used and endorsed by: Team Shark/Plano Honda, Blackfoot Honda, John Dowd, Fred Andrews, Denny Stephenson and Paul Edmonson."
Not only does it feel like the handle bars won't bend, but I noticed that there was less vibration in the grips. The laser grid helps when positioning the handle bars to where you like it. The down fall to the handle bars is you will need to get a conversion kit or do what I did and get a Roll design Steering stem and IMS clamps. The way I went was a lot more money but in the long run I think it is worth it if you plan on getting an aftermarket steering stem.
