1987 Frame up Quadzilla Project

We started with what most zilla's are at that age tired and worn. Through this project you will see a Quadzilla get rebuilt from the frame up. You will see step by step every process that we take with this build. We are currently looking for people or businesses that are willing to donate to this project if intrested please click here

Stage 2 Cases and Cylinder

There are many options when it comes to getting your cases looking sweet. You can polish them but then your going to be polishing for the rest of your life. You can chrome it but I have heard that the chrome can warp the cases and will pit when the motor heats up. With the zilla the motor gets very hot and I don't think chrome would be a good choice for at race quad. Yes it would look damn good but i think there are other parts that we can chrome to accent the motor and the overall quad. So for the motor we chose to powdercoat the case halfs and cylinder the same color as the frame.
If you are intrested in getting something powdercoated we recommend talking with Bill Sr. at

Now for the other parts we plan to polish them using http://www.speed150.com. The parts that we are doing are magneto cover, water pump and powervalve cover. We already have a cool head for this project so it is already polished up.
